Karen Marr, English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher

I am fascinated by languages, and love learning about other cultures, through food, music, architecture, history, and ways of interacting.  I speak Spanish, and it is my love of Spanish that brought me to ESL, because I see how learning another language allows you to enter into another world; the world of those native speakers.

 

I received my Master of Arts in ESL Education from North Carolina State University, and have been teaching in Nash and Rocky Mount Public Schools for five years.
