
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
It's time to register for Kindergarten for the 24-25 school year. Benvenue will have in-person registration on Tuesday, May 7th from 9am - 12pm & 3pm - 6pm. Students who will be five (5) years old by August 31, 2024 may register for Kindergarten.
You will need to bring the following documents to register your child:
Certified Birth Certificate
Valid Photo ID for Parent/Guardian
Lease or Mortgage Paperwork
Utility Bill (dated within the last 30 days)
Custody Paperwork (if applicable)
If you are unable to register your child on this date/times, please call the school to make an appointment with Mrs. Luter, data manager to register your child. If you have any questions about enrollment, please call the school at (252) 462-2835.

🎨Celebration of the Arts🎨
5:30 p.m. Tuesday, 3/26 at Rocky Mount High!
Join us to celebrate the brilliance of Nash County Public Schools' students at our Celebration of the Arts! This event showcases artwork from students across the district. After the celebration, the artwork will be displayed at the Braswell Memorial Library throughout the month of April. Then it will be at the NCPS District Office in the Superintendent’s Art Gallery. 🖼️🎨✏️

These pictures will be prepaid. Only students who return a payment envelope will be photographed. Pictures can also be paid for online at www.strawbridge.net. The online code is FM427235. The online order must be placed on or before March 19. If you pay online, you will still need to return the payment envelope with the payment code or send a copy of the receipt.


DEADLINE TO REGISTER & PAY FOR 4-5 SNEAKER BALL IS TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY)
Grade 4-5 Sneaker Ball - 3/22/24 - 6pm-8pm
The Benvenue PTO is sponsoring a "Sneaker Ball" for 4th/5th grade students on Friday, March 22nd from 6pm-8pm. Admission is $5. Deadline for registration and payment is Wednesday, 3/20. Concessions will be sold for $1 per item. Registration forms were sent home last week in Thursday folders.
Please keep in mind that is a school event and the district dress code is still in place. Students must wear clothing that covers them from upper chest to mid-thigh with opaque (non-see-through) fabric in front, back, and on the sides. If you have any additional questions regarding the district dress code, please contact the school.

End-of-Grade Testing - Week of May 20 - May 24
Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and arrives at school on time while we are testing. All students can eat breakfast in the cafeteria prior to the start of testing. If your child arrives after the testing session has begun, they will have to test away from their class at a later time. Students will not be allowed to check out until testing is complete for that day.
End-of-the Year PBIS Celebration - May 24
Students who have met their PBIS goals will be allowed to attend during their special time. This event is for students only.
Memorial Day Holiday - 5/27/24
No School for students & staff
Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony - 5/28/24 @ 9:00am - Multi-Purpose Room
Fifth grade students will receive their awards and promotion certificate to sixth grade. We ask that students dress nicely for this event.Due to fire code capacity, this is a ticket only event. Each student will be given 3 tickets for family members to attend.
Classroom Awards & Celebrations - 5/29 - 9:00am-10:00am
Parents are welcome to attend this event. Teachers will present classroom awards and there will be a classroom celebration. Classroom teachers will communicate more information closer to this date.
Early Release - 5/29 & 5/30 @ 1:00pm
Last Day of School - 5/30/24


Thursday and Friday are teacher workdays. There is no school for students. We will see everyone on Monday.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is our day to host the Elementary Basketball League games at Nashville Elementary, 209 E. Virginia Ave, Nashville.
Below are our game times:

11:15 - Girls vs Red Oak Girls
Our Cheer Squad will be joined by the Little Bobcats tomorrow . They will have a special performance. Benvenue is also running the concession stand. We will have hotdogs, chips, candy, popcorn, cotton candy, and drinks. Cash only. Bring your family and friends to support our BES teams and school. This is a fundraiser for our school. Admission is $3 (cash only) for ages 5 & up. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
