Thank you to West Edgecombe Baptist Church for the beautiful flower arrangement to welcome back our staff. It was greatly appreciated!

Today we welcomed our staff back from summer break. They are off to a great start preparing for our students to return. We would like to say a very special "Thank You" to the Rocky Mount Church of the Nazarene for the boxes of school supplies for our teachers. They are greatly appreciated. Also, a special thank you to the Benvenue PTO for providing lunch for our staff. We appreciate Cp3 Catering and Food Trailer for providing our delicious lunch today.

Benvenue Elementary School Open House Tuesday, August 22 * 11am-1pm or 4pm-6pm This is a floating event. You can visit your child's classroom during either Open House session.

P-EBT benefits are currently being distributed to eligible families by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. A one time payment of $120.00 per eligible student will be paid in late June or Early July per their website. Families can take a quiz on their website to determine if they are eligible for the benefits (link below). The website also has a frequently asked questions page which is also below. We would like to welcome Mrs. Sonya Meeks as the new assistant principal at Benvenue Elementary. Mrs. Meeks has twenty years of experience in education. She is coming to Benvenue from Southern Nash Middle School where she served as assistant principal. Welcome to the Benvenue Family Mrs. Meeks!!!
