P-EBT benefits are currently being distributed to eligible families by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. A one time payment of $120.00 per eligible student will be paid in late June or Early July per their website. Families can take a quiz on their website to determine if they are eligible for the benefits (link below). The website also has a frequently asked questions page which is also below. If a family is sure that they are eligible but have not received the payment they can call the PEBT call center at 866-719-0141 PEBT Eligibility Quiz - https://covid19.ncdhhs.gov/summer-2023-p-ebt-eligibility-quiz PEBT FAQ - https://covid19.ncdhhs.gov/information/human-services/pandemic-electronic-benefit-transfer-p-ebt-program/p-ebt-frequently-asked-questions
